Stop poisoning our pets

Having lost three of my heart dogs to cancer, had another suffering seizures for his life, I want to know exactly what I'm feeding my dogs. As more information comes out about cancer and carbohydrates, and over cooked, over treated kibbles, I feed raw, one way or another.

I think people need to do the research before they feed their animals raw food. That being said, a raw food diet cleared up each of my animals’ individual ailments. Completely.

I have been a raw food feeder for 17 years with multiple dogs and cats. I have fed professional/commercially made raw food all this time and have never had a health issues with any of the foods I've fed. All of my dogs and cats have thrived on these foods and taking away the raw choice for consumers would be devastating.

You have my 100% support. The FDA needs to be more vigilant against the companies that are killing or making pets ill and stop going after the ones that are actually doing something positive to support health in our pets!

In my 16 years of retailing pet food, including raw (which I feed to my own pets) I have never had a customer report any adverse reaction to a raw food. I have had several reporting such reactions to kibble. The zero tolerance policy is ridiculous and also illegal. It is government doing the bidding of big business against the interests of consumers and small, ethical businesses. This behavior is contributing to the growing distrust of government, big business and mainstream science. We need trustworthy government, honorable businesses of all sizes, and scientific enterprises that are reliable and honest. With this unholy alliance, you undermine all those values. It is hard to restore trust once it has been lost. Don't keep betraying it.

The right and responsibility to buy and/or feed raw or minimally processed pet food needs to remain mine to make.
