Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

I want minimally processed pet food choices to be available to all pet parents.

I will never feed kibble to my pets again. It must be unlawful to force inadequate nutrition to our family. If we don't have freedom of choice, then what do we have?

My dog Luna eats raw food and since switching to it about a year ago, her health has drastically improved. This decision is nothing but massive corruption and bias and not based in the health of pets.

We have the right to choose what is right for our pets!!

Dogs Deserve it

As a pet owner who seeks to provide quality nutrition to my dogs, raw food is my choice. I see no reason for the FDA to have any say in that choice. Not unlike the raw food I purchase at the grocery store, what I do with it once I get it home is my business. It should be no different for the often identical meat in the raw pet food that I buy. Not only does the FDA lack sound science to oppose the sale of raw pet food, it is quite likely that any ban on the sale of raw meat would most certainly need to apply to the human market as well to make any sense at all. The FDA's role must remain fully within the bounds of sound science and the freedoms of the people whom they are charged to protect.

I have fed my first dog raw food for the last 8 years, she is now 9. It is the only food that has helped her digestive system since she was a puppy. Our 2nd dog will be 4 in September and the raw diet is the only food she has eaten since she was 4 mos old. Both girls are healthy and happy with shiny coats. Their vets are fully supportive of their raw diet. I have noticed that they have done so much better since last year when we moved them to the Answers complete diet and the fermented process that they use for their products. We have never had any issues of handling raw food in our home, our dogs are healthier; and, most importantly, it should be MY decision on what food I research and choose to feed my girls. There are so many areas, too many to mention here, where the government should honestly back off and let it be. I fully trust Answers Pet Food, and appreciate the work they are doing to protect their consumers both the 2-legged and 4-legged one’s. I TRUST Answers to know scientifically what is best for our pets, much more than the FDA and their government teams of politicians that are not remotely interested in the true well-being of our pets. Thank you Answers for leading this cause!

FDA is failing us and thank you to answers pet food for doing this necessary work

congress needs to do their jobs. communication with certain congress members shows congress doesn't care what FDA is doing. That is frightening.

We are the ones who pay for our pet's food and it should be our right to feed what we think is best.

If raw meat intended for pets wasn't available to me, I'd buy raw meat from the grocery store, add necessary supplements, and keep right on feeding raw. I feel that strongly about it, and resent the government trying to impose higher standards on pet food than on human food.

My puppies have never been healthier than when Answers dog food came along. They are a very conciencous company and there are hundreds of thousands of us that trust them to the very core

We should have the right to feed what we feel is best for our dogs. This is absolutely ridiculous. There are starving animals galore and someone is worried about what responsible dog owners feed their dogs? It is natural. They didn’t eat dog food before we domesticated them.

How people feed their pets should always be their choice. Processed pet food is not for my pets.
