Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

This is MY CHOICE to feed my dogs Raw meaty bones & veggies. Those Big Pharma & Pet Food Companies want to control the whole planet . Shame on them!. Come on if you love your canine companion sign that petition please.

I switched my dog from kibble and canned dog food to Answers Raw Beef Patties with fermented vegetables when she was diagnosed with cancer last September. I chose the raw diet and supplements in place of putting her through chemo. It has been 10 months and she is thriving. I don't even want to think about what would happen if I couldn't purchase Answers raw food.

With the number of pets being diagnosed with cancer and other chronic conditions increasing, the FDA and other government regulatory agencies have no place telling pet owners how and what to feed our pets. We’ve done it your way, and you failed us, just like you continue to fail humans in the same regard. Enough is enough. When does it end?

I have witnessed the benefits of a raw food diet and I will resist any efforts - government or commercial - to restrict the ability of pet lovers to provide their canine companions with a healthy raw foods.

I should be able to feed what I want to my pets. More species appropriate

I have noticed the huge improvements in my pets life since feeding raw. When they ate kibble they never had the energy they do now with raw diet they love it.

I want freedom of choice on what foods I feed my pet. I want raw food or minimally processed and limited ingredient food products from companies I trust. I have been feeding raw since 1991 and my pets THRIVE!!!

It is our right to buy raw food for our pets!

In the land of the free (USA) one freedom is choosing what we eat and what we feed our pets. Raw food means healthier pets. No one would be against that, right???

I don't know how processed unhealthy food can be approved and clean, raw food that dogs and cats are intended to eat be banned. Please reconsider. Our animals are thriving and it is our choice to keep them as healthy as possible. Don't take that choice away from us. We love our animals.

My cats have been eating raw for over 20 years. They are incredibly healthy and over a dozen cats have lived to be between 17-24. If you want to regulate an industry killing pets regulate the big commercial pet food companies. I am the best judge of what to feed my cats! This is not at all based on science.

Pet food really isn't followed up on. You have all these FDA regulations and NO follow through or accountability. This needs to change in order to keep our furbabies and owners safer

Human food is purchased raw and frequently carries Salmonella. This action is scientifically absurd, legally questionable, and defies American values of freedom.

I may live in a place where you must make your own anyway, but this will be a problem for many pets' health.

I feed raw for my cavalier King Charles Spaniel and she is the picture of health. My Siamese & domestic short hair cats also feed raw with zero issues, and again, the picture of health. I absolutely will not put the processed, chemical laden, not USA sourced, nutrients cooked out, leftover from a slaughter house, and full of grain laden foods in my pets. Cynthia Gunn
