Let's all rally together to keep the outer beach from closing every summer. We need to explore other solutions for protecting the birds without having to close the beach! We have been asked to put together a petition to show our concern for this issue that will be presented to our state representative. This is the petition to keep the Outer Beaches open while protecting the Piping Plovers. There is a meeting being held at the Town Hall in Orleans on Wednesday August 14th at 6:30 where this issue will be raised. Anyone that can attend is encouraged to do so.
