I fo not feel safe in the streets anymore. My husband was threatened the other day, me with the baby too! In the middle of the day! I see drug abuse, confused men, scary people. This is A different neighborhood now. Not the one I moved to three years ago.

We really need the 1%’ers to do more and pay their fair share for all this magnificent City gives them. We need you now more than ever.

We support the construction in our neighborhood which keeps areas near it safe and improve life on UWS.

This is a family neighborhood. My teens are petrified to walk their own neighborhood bc of the already hundreds of new homeless on our corners. I’m a grown woman and also very scared for my safety. Homeless Substance Abusers with possible Covid-19 positive is not a good idea!!!

Please remove sex offenders immediately as we have children right outside their doorsteps!!!

Quality of Life is what we worked hard for. Vote for Cathy Bernstein to vote out the Portland Riot denier Nadler.

Please move these shelters now. I don’t feel that my children are safe walking around with homeless drug abusers that don’t wear masks. They could be sex offenders too. Why was this done hush hush. This is our neighborhood. We should have a voice.

Our school is one block away from the Lucerne. There is also PS87 nearby. There was zero transparency on this sneaky move by the politicians. I will not allow my children who are getting older to walk alone. I’m disgusted by this poor decision. These guests are actively using drugs and could be sex offenders. Why oh why was this allowed? Why can’t they go to vacant hotels near the airports. Surely they are not full.

These shelters must be moved immediately. These are neighborhoods filled with families and children.

UWS community deserves transparency which will drive collaborative conversations. Without upfront community partnership, there can be no trust as the politicians have shown no consideration for others is needed.

It’s time for the mayor to think about our lives and the lives of our children and grandchildren

Must keep the neighborhood safe and clean. It isn’t now. The neighborhood is not what it used to be.

Please keep UWS safe and keep it a pleasant, family neighborhood that it’s been in the past.

Please relocate these shelters to areas where space and everything is more affordable. Don’t dump 283 drug addicts less than 1 block from 1000 student elementary school
