Our neighborhood is family friendly and we have had more of our share of people who need additional support and services.

Maya Angelou's famous line, "when people show you who they are, beleive them the first time" rings true here. Once a sex offender, always a sex offender. These people should NOT be permitted to live in a residential neighbourhood full of children!

My wife and I have been residents of the UWS FOR DECADES, and are all too familiar with the way the neighborhood used to be...and we refuse to be blindsided by secret back room meetings that try and cause History to repeat itself!

Keep our streets safe. Stop putting up homeless shelters in our safe residential neighborhoods!

This decision has a huge impact on the residents who pay mortgages and rent. The people who pay to live here need to be included in the decision.

Our surroundings reflect not only on us. But those that we trust to do their Job.

I have been a resident of this neighborhood for over 30 years. It took a long time to reduce the crime here and improve the quality of life. I see the neighborhood going into a great decline as it was when I arrived. Should there be no improvement in sight, I am seriously considering leaving New York. I can pay taxes elsewhere.

There are several hotels in nyc that are not in residential areas that could be used for this purpose.

Same has been done near my home in Queens. There is no additional protect on our streets and no evidence whether the temporary shelters have sufficient mental health treatment or other rehabilitative programs.

This is not a decision you can just make unilaterally without discussing with the community. You also cannot put criminals in our community who have not been vetted.
