And remove sex offenders from UWS hotels where they were put by the city

With so many young families on the UWS, safety for our children MUST be a priority!! How can a homeless shelter with recovering male drug addicts be placed 2 blocks from an elementary school?

I am very concerned about my kids safely. This most certainly does not make me comfortable to have local hotels turned into shelter for the homeless.

I understand that this is good for the hotels but is not good for the safety of the UWS. Crime has gone up significantly and I am sure that this is a large factor.

It’s becoming quite clear that there is a presence now that wasn’t here prior to the detriment of the neighborhood

Underhanded move by our elected officials. The community should've been consulted about this.

IF you want to help the homeless, do more than just giving them shelter. Give them rehab options, not just a room.

Of all the problems in the world, this is why you're complaining about? Get over yourself. Move out of town and give us our New York back.
