We fled to Westchester because of what the west side has become through similar moves in 1980. As many generations come back and embrace our city, by taking over the hotels this way, you are driving everyone out again including the revenue they generate. Unfortunately it is worse today because as people can work remotely now there is no reason to come back to the Westside.

Wednesday, July 29th, 2020. I witnessed this morning at around 11am a homeless entering the Neufeld playground (40 riverside drive) , he then took his shower ( keeping his shorts on but no mask ! ) in the middle of the elephants sprinklers. All the mothers around including myself left with their toddlers and young children.

Lately it feels like NYC's politicians are becoming increasingly hostile to the law-abiding taxpayers.

Please keep our children and neighborhood safe. By ruining our neighborhoods you are removing the high incoming earning tax base as residents flee.

Our community should be part of the decision-making process for moving addicts into our hotels. People are afraid for their children and that is a legitimate and important concern.

I have lived on the upper west side for 15 years and have begun raising a small family here. Don’t ruin my kids chance to grow up in this city and feel safe. Deblasio is driving people out of the city this madness must stop find another solution!

Please vet these homeless men - we don't want registered sex offenders and drug dealers in our neighborhood. Find women and children for these room please!

I have compassion for homeless people but not drug dealers and people who are being relocated from other places because they have caused trouble. Put women and children in those luxury rooms
