The hotel owner is making big bucks off taxpayers while housing drug addicts and sex offenders. They should not be in a family neighborhood.

Not only streets are dirty and unsafe, there is no police to protect Innocent adults and children. While we were locked in for weeks due to Covid-19, we are locked in now due to unsafe street.

We pay way to much money to live in NYC to be surrounded by homeless drug addicts. If you leave them in our beautiful neighborhoods you will push good people out and lose all your tax revenues.

This has gotten out of control with drugs and unstable individuals approaching me and cursing. Now I just heard a woman was stabbed at 72st subway yesterday.

Not sure why only homeless men were moved to UWS. Seems like families facing homelessness would have been a better fit, especially at the Lucerne

An overwhelming influx for one community to manage. Who is doing the planning here? Stunning lack of forethought and urban planning.

Enough homeless folks being moved to UWS
Other neighborhoods need to share

What has been seen around our neighborhood is awful. I shouldn’t need to worry about my wife being harassed everyday just for walking down the street. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Upper West Sider since 1976, never seen it this bad. Cannot stop at a fruit stand or enter a store without being accosted and threatened.

I don’t understand why three hotels were selected in a close proximity in the same neighborhood. Have any been moved to hotels on the upper east side or other neighborhoods?

I agree. I live on 94th St. and we have had to hire private security given conditions in our neighborhood.
