We are extremely worried! My children and family are not safe! Please immediately relocate all of these homeless men somewhere else away from family neighborhoods!

I don't feel safe on the upper west side. I don't know how I'll be able to go to work in the fall and winter when it turns dark out at 5:00. I don't leave my apartment after dark now. The UWS reminds me of how it was in the early 80's.

The neighborhood has become unsafe. This Inc,us of homeless in a 10 block radius is too much. In the last few weeks I have personally witnessed armed robbery and multiple drug deals. Not to mention the lack of mask wearing

This is complete disgrace. On top of everything else that's going on, having to be careful about maintaining social distance, wearing a mask (both of which I have no problem with), we now have to host these people who are congregating way too close to each other and not wearing masks? They're being housed in our hotels to keep them safe, but what about our safety? This makes no sense at all.

Remove homeless, drug dealers, sex offenders and rapists from upper west side hotels. The residents of the neighborhood demand safety for our families and children

I’ve never felt unsafe in this neighborhood- I do now. It’s unacceptable.

As a parent of 2 daughters, this is very concerning. Quite the knucklehead politician decision.

I am highly concerned as I have two young girls that need to get to and from school. It’s all appalling and should never have been allowed. There are other options.

I walked along Broadway’ today from 72nd to 96th - have not seen anything like this since Dinken’s was Mayor. This is a disgrace how our lovely neighborhood has been turned into a trash pit in a matter of days.

Its Nice to see grown men with their hands down their pants, within a block radius of an elementary school, wile other people are overdosing in the streets and infront of businesses.
