The UWS has turned the clock when I was a teen. Mom and Dad and other parents would tell us to be home by 6pm latest. UWS KNOWN AS LITTLE Korea

If it’s about humanity maybe we can use those hotels to house students whose school buildings are unsafe to attend school? We could use conference rooms for classrooms. Or evicted families that have no where to go. Bringing residents who need more support around mental illness and drug addiction into a quiet residential area is not the answer. It’s dangerous for our children and elderly residents.

Please keep the neighborhood safe. The quality of life in the area is eroding at an alarming rate.

I believe there’s almost 700 homeless now. They’re destroying the safety of the UWS.

Another stupid measure of Mr. De Blasio, putting the residents at risk with his populist policies.

The upper west side is a very family friendly place. Placing homeless families in these hotels woukd have been a much better fit for the neighborhood than the situation we have now..

I am 75 and for the past few months am constantly accosted by men ask me for money. Some don't give up with a gentle no and follow me. It is making me dread leaving my complex and shopping above 67th St. I don't want to go out at night. I know that Lincoln Center and movie theaters are closed (for now), but I'm afraid I won't be able to attend events when they do re-open, and that's why I moved here. Please do whatever is necessary to keep the neighborhood safe. Thank you.

Please move these homeless shelters outside the UWS or the tax paying residents will over time move to other neighborhoods or to the suburbs as in the 1980s
