A man chased me down the street with hands in his pants. And I've seen two other men masturbating in the street. I don't feel save anymore on the Upperwest

Whenever I past the corner of 79th and Broadway, I smell strong urinate and see street covered with garage. Is this the same UWS I have loved and lived for 20years. I am so sad and thinking maybe it's the time to move out of the city if this is where our city is heading to.

Please get this population the help they need rather than shuttling them into hotels and neighborhoods where they can’t be helped!

The concentration of methadone users, sex offenders and active drug users in a 5-block radius on the UWS has posed a dangerous situation for it's residence and their children. Better judgement could have been used in the placement of these poor souls in parts of town that don't house families.

I am terribly concerned for the safety of the people of the UWS. It has become notably more dangerous than it used to be. I have seen two incidents of men with machetes at 72 and broadway. This is uncalled for.

I’ve seen 3 drug deals on 77th and west end within the past month. One man slumped over on drugs, partying on the street on Broadway and many smoking weed in the street.
This is a residential area with children and hard working people who pay a ton in rent.
Please take them out of these hotels and our neighborhood. Get them help, stop putting our families in danger.

Absolutely horrifying. They broke the windows of a nail salon 2 stores down from The Bellclaire.
How is this ok? They’re destroying the area and most are mentally ill. I saw a man the other day screaming and talking to himself walking down West End Ave and another going through someone’s trash.
This is a residential area and these individuals need help. They’re dangerous.

The homeless need to be placed in full facility center where they are taken care of with services for drug addiction, mental health, etc. To have them placed I. Hotels in residential nrighborhoods where their problems are obviously spilling out into the streets and becoming a public health hazard for it’s residents.

Our daily safety on the Upper West Side is in danger. Extremely few of us who reside there live in ivory towers with access to private security. You are in office to shield your community from harm. You are doing the opposite.
