I am disappointed in the LHSAA & VCHS. The LHSAA ruling not to allow this young man to play at all his senior year is wrong in every sense. VCHS has had a reputation for years for being “dirty” when it comes to football, but never did I think they would stoop to such low levels of conduct. The administration & coach need to be investigated, not only by LHSAA ( which I now have absolutely no faith in) but by the Archdiocese of Houma. The actions of both administration & the coach are in direct violation of the code of conduct all Archdiocese Employees must adhere to.

The coach from the previous school needs to be fired for how he treated this child. He supposed to be an example of a Christian and I will model for his students. I believe he failed at this attempt to be a Christian. It is not fair for this child to be punished because of who his coach was. Please give this child another chance and change the decision.

LHSAA enforces only some of the rules st their convenience. But drops the hammer on HHS because they speak out about the crazy Select Non Select catsgory.

So sad that an 18 year old presented himself more like an adult than the committee. This board is heartless. They have basically ruined this young man's football career. Shame on Vanderbilt coach for being so immature. Let Andrew play football!
