Let Andrew Play

This is an injustice taking away Andrews senior year of football because of a upset and petty coach. He deserves to be playing.

This is such an unfair consequence!!! Let him have his senior high school year in football!!!

This is outrageous. I’m seriously majorly disappointed and what they voted with. The dad was let go from his job at the school where his son went and played football, I am guessing that the family got a free or discounted tuition since his dad worked there. The school also had an outstanding football player. When they let the dad go one they could no longer afford to send there child there like anyone else since they weren’t making enough money, second did the school really think that after letting the dad go they would still be able to have one of the best football players in the state?! That’s not how that works. After finding out that he was let go and could no longer afford for his son to go to Vandebilt he looked into other schools where his son could play football for, that would typicaly put his son into a good college with a scholarship for playing football. As far as I am aware I was informed but may be wrong that the dad moved to hahnville. If this is true then hahnville would be the place for his son to go since it’s in the district area. Just like any father of a son who plays football and has to go to a new school he talked to the coach about his son. When you move to a new school you are going to tell me you aren’t going to talk to a coach at your new school if that’s what you want in your future? Then that’s when the magazine comes in to play. Andrew even said that he asked the people taking pictures if he should wear Vandebilts team jersey and they said no! He had no control over that, it’s not what he wanted I believe it’s what the magazine wanted. (Don’t quote me on that) This whole thing was based off of an assumption witch they teach us not to do in school and that making assumptions is what’s wrong with the world but he we are putting a child’s education in jeopardy because of an assumption. That’s unbelievable and I will not stand by it! And on top of all of that if that weren’t enough already he’s a senior and won’t be able to play next y

Please let him play his last year of high school football

Clearly there were no signs of recruiting. And if this is the case half the team on teams like John Ehret would not have a team with all the recruiting they do and they are not thed only school.

Punish the adults for breaking a stupid rule if you must, but not the kids.

Please do not stop this child’s future?

Telling the child to play for the school that just reported him is ridiculous and shows they do not care about the child. At least allow the child to play for someone else but don't make him waste his last year in high school which will essentially ruin all chances of getting a scholarship to college.

This is the most unfair and absurd ruling I have ever seen, especially with the fact he ask his coach at Vanderbilt if he could wear their jersey and he said NO! It’s like this was an entire set up for one of the most honest young men I know.

The ruling is totally ridiculous and extremely harsh. Heartless. How can a child be treated this way.
