Andy should not be held back from his goal because of a administrative error over which he had no control.

Let the kid play it’s just sore and unhappy people that lost a star player and that’s what this is about if it went the other way nothing would have been said

This young man deserves to play -- Shame on the Vanderbilt coach and his childish, spiteful ways.

The coach at his former school has behaved disgracefully.

As someone who works in college athletics I have personally witnessed what I know to be so wrong, this young man needs to have the opportunity to compete as well as try and earn a college scholarship. Stop making everything about their sport. If a champion debate team member were in a similar position would they be banned from debating for their new school?

This is the most absurd thing I’ve seen in the history of sports. He’s academically and athletically respectful and has done no harm to anyone. I wish schools would recognize that Vanderbilt recruits all sorts of athletes and then they get pissed off or but hurt when the student they recruited wanted to go to another school. Vandy is not all set out to what people think it is. I got the same education those students did at a public school. It’s how you apply yourself in the classroom setting is what makes you become who you are!

The decision is directly against article 2.3 of the LHSAA constitution!
