I heard about this on WWL radio program last night and it's a travesty for this young man to be penalized due to a technicality in the eyes of the LHSAA. How about the LHSAA be the adults in the room and get past this minor technicality and allow this young man to play his senior year of high school football!!!

This boy should not be denied his senior year. I bet if members of LHSAA had one of their kids in a situation like this it would not be a problem. Nothing but politics in sports. What a joke.

This is a crucial year for this young man, his family and his team. He should be allowed to play with no guilt, shame or penalty. Absurd!

Kid s deserves to play. This decision may affect his life in a career speaking manner. Do not punish him for adults doing the incorrect things. He has college in front of him and possibly a career to look forward to and not to mention the senior year memories and experience that being denied to him

It is ridiculous to penalize a young man for something out of his control. The VC coach should be the one who should be fined and penalized for his hatred, Indifference and treatment of this young man

I feel this child I mean young man should have to suffer for what an adult did . He’s a senior and in high school . I think he’s getting punished for something he had no control of . Please let the young man play football for his senior year .

In a world that is so ugly right now, please allow this young man to play his senior year of football. He can NEVER have it back. Give him and the public your reason for not allowing. My son had to sit out a year to play because he switched schools. If you have children give this guy and his family the reason and if it is not valid grant him to play. He seems to be a great young man.

Amazing how a bunch of grown adults can ruin one child's dream and career by bullying and self absorbed greed. Ridiculous that a kid is doing good in school, stays out of trouble and is getting hog tied by the self righteous LHSAA. Grow up and let the kid play, we are supposed to be for the kids this is far from it sickening
