I had a similar issue with my daughter playing softball. I fought it and won. These rules are sketchy and written very vague. Fight it and get legal assistance if needed. The entire LHSAA is a political pot of gumbo. I will say they made it right for my daughter, but had I simply rolled over and taken their sentencing, she would have sat out her senior season as well. She was ruled ineligible after a inspector gadget style investigation. A month later and involvement from an attorney, she was miraculously ruled eligible the day of the first scrimmage.

LHSAA needs to set the example and own up for their oversight or lack of leadership on their part. It is their responsibility to ensure that students receive fair treatment and somehow instead of just doing the right thing they have failed the student, the school, and the entire Community. With this said, with no fault of the Student or no reasoning, Andrew should be reinstated so that he can play his Senior Year!
