The LHSAA still continues to compromise the purity of Louisiana high school football. I will always cheer on the purity of the sport. Every kid deserves to play if willing.

The LHSAA should be ashamed of themselves and reverse this decision. Dont ruin this kids college chances over something this ridiculous.

Why didn’t s coach chastised for a few games while Andrew is chastised for a year? The coaches/schools made the decisions that started this mess.

LHSAA cannot pick and chose when to enforce rules. This is ridiculous that they stripped this kid of his possible entire future. LHSAA should be state run that way personal priorities will not come first.

This is such a injustice to punish this child even more for things that are out of his control. To be threaten to have his love of football taken from him and now to see it happen. What penalty does the coach from his old school get for this?!?

So hope that this makes a difference. The situation seems so unfair and heartless as it impacts a young man who happens to have great character and a great athletic gifting—a combination usually lauded by our communities!
