Cameron's proposed filters extend to more than just porn! Filters set to include: "violent material" "extremist related content" "anorexia and eating disorder websites" "suicide related websites" "alcohol" "smoking" "web forums" "Web blocking circumvention tools" "esoteric material" (whatever the government wants) The filters have NOTHING to do with porn whatsoever, this is FULL BLOWN government controlled internet censorship! The government does not have the right to censor what was built to be a free and open space for anyone to interact and express themselves - the internet. The proposed porn filters will not only bring the UK in line with places such as CHINA and IRAN, it will also severely damage existing businesses such as legitimate VPN providers, hosting companies and MANY more. You may be able to "opt-out" of the filter, but your traffic will still be routed through the same system. The proposed filters have NOTHING to do with pornography and everything to do with internet surveillance and CENSORSHIP. THIS CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN.
