Narcan works and I have given it more times than I can count! Every Paramedic and ER Nurse has but always use caution because sometimes the seizures and the fighting is awful.

Narcan and Suboxone should be nationally available (yes limited in distribution with suboxone), but both can save lives and should be essential in any emergency response vehicle.

Heroin that comes from Afghanistan is the purest and therefore the most lethal. Rumors has it that there are some US troops involved in that awful trade. Maybe the start would be asking the Pentagon about those rumors and have FBI/DEA and HS place sniff dogs in each plane that land from Europe and Asia and make the Counter Intelligence agencies NCIS, DIA and et.al to place a dagger on it! Happy 2017

I almost lost my life to heroin addiction. Luckily mouth to mouth for 6 minutes worked. It doesn't always. This life saving drug should be carried by all police officers.
