We don't need SJZ's ruining SF, conventions, nor everyday life. Down with the authoritarian twits who don't spend money at cons anyway.

Best part is the panel Jaym claims Ringo harrassed her in can be found on Youtube and is oddly Ringo-free. Don't let the nazis win or they will be the only ones allowed to decide who we get to see based on their unreasoning hatred.

You don't have to agree with an author's politics, you don't even have to like an author, If you are at a convention with one, don't go to where they are. Simple personal responsibility.

You can disagree with someone and their views. You don't get to exclude them from public events because of it. If you need a "safe space" that badly, then it is incumbent on you to choose to attend or not. It is not your place to demand others not be allowed to attend.

Science fiction should be about the fandom and the genre. Political correctness and litmus tests directed against authors for their personal beliefs is abhorrent.

Jada and Luis’ definitive statement disavowing the tactics of getting guests uninvited has me trying to decide whether I’m going to buy a supporting membership or an attending one. Haven’t been to NC since the 90’s, so time to visit again I think....

People will be excluded until inclusion is achieved! Inclusive means *inclusive*. It doesn't mean that only certain people are let in the door. It means that EVERYONE is let in the door and then they all behave like Adults. If that's too hard, stay home!

I believe that a convention should be able to invite genre-appropriate guests and not be forced to exclude guests by the strident minority who feel they should be gatekeepers to what you can hear. Jada and Luis have my full support and confidence.
