The world knows that Spain is in BIG financial trouble. With an unemployment rate of 25% and an enormous financial deficit all growth has disappeared and the country is an economical mess. In spite of this each municipality in Spain is allowed to have a maximum of 14 public holidays per year; a maximum of nine of these are chosen by the national government and at least two are chosen locally (source: Wikipedia). Please abolish at least 3 national ones and get the Spanish people back to work !
