DUSC turns away over 750 kids annually due to space limitations. We need more fields.

My son has grown up playing soccer and what a frustration it has been to not have enough field space and have to travel so far out of our neighborhood for practices. Hopefully this will not be the case for future generations.

Our community desperately needs this field! If the vision is for families to continue to live in Manhattan, this is a necessity!

As we dedicate more to green space, bicycle lanes and parks it is so important to develop team sport areas, particularly soccer fields as soccer is becoming one of the fastest growing team sport for both males and females.

Definitely need more sports space downtown as more and more families continue to grow their kids in city and not move to the suburbs

Sports fields are worthy public resource which help maintain our city as a place where people can raise families and adults can enjoy a full range of activities and interests. Thank you.

More families in our neighborhoods means we need to find and preserve open space and design it for active space.

Having another option to go and play outside with the kids on a real field would be so amazing. We can't wait!

Both my kids formed their love of soccer at Pier 40. Essential that more field space is created in NYC.
