I am a parent of a middle schooler attending the 75 Morton middle school.
There is a lack of field space in the area for the youths to participate comfortably in sports.
I am kindly requesting a full sized 316 field for the youths to participate in sporting activities.
I do hope that this idea is acknowledged and acted upon, because our youths are our future. Let us provide for them.

Space for sports are important in the ever increasing population of Manhattan and the ever increasing density of buildings taking over any available space. A full sized field at Gansevoort Peninsula is imperative for added sports activities and will benefit a diverse population. Thank you.

As a coach and father of three, I know that that smaller fields won't meet the needs of our community. A large, 2 acre, multi-use field is necessary to accommodate athletes of middle and high school age.

We have lived in this neighborhood since 2001 , and my son (now 11) and his friends are at their happiest when they are active and playing sports. A full-sized field is needed to support our growing community, and to keep our kids outside, active, and healthy.
