If ANSI won't rate the original design fiberglass HARD BOILED 502, then possibly Carbon fiber or Carbon Kevlar might. But still use the same design and no adjustable headband. They'll sell, sell, sell.
I've been a Local 12 Crane Operator in SoCal since 1995. From the beginning, its ALWAYS been my Bullard 502 and my Redwings. Simply, that's what keeps me safe all day everyday!
Union Ironworker local 229. Been wearing your hardhats my whole career. The 502 is a traditional Ironworker hardhat and i would like to see them being made again. It would be a win win. We get our hardshats, you make a pile of cash. Sincerally, Ninian
502 was the best hardhat ever made. I represent over 5,000 IRONWORKERS in the Los Angeles area alone. All were crushed when the 502 was discontinued. What ever needs to happen for the 502 to be brought back, please notify me. Thank you-
I'm a 4th generation union ironworker out of local 433 would love to see the hats that I wear and my forefathers wore
Hello, Most Ironworkers of local 433 including myself wear the Bullard 502 fiberglass hard hat as part of our daily PPE. Almost all of the 502 hard hats used daily have expired.

I wear a white fiberglass Bullard and I'd like to see them made again. They are the best looking hats out there and I'd like to have another one or two but I don't like paying 170 plus on ebay for one. It'd be great if you made them again and priced them reasonably. Thank you
