We "the people" would like to register a complaint against the termination of the event at Five Ponds known as Fun Fridays. Specifically , we are asking that this event be reinstated at your earliest convenience. The Fun Fridays weekly event offered a unique opportunity in this area in that it was the only event that included music and dancing between the hours of 1700 & 2100 each Friday. This event will be sorely missed by those that regularly attended. The atmosphere of casual dining and camaraderie with like minded citizens every Friday was a delightful option to have. We understand that attendance was low and probably was a major factor in the decision to stop the event. We feel that given the amount of people living within a 15 minute drive of Five Ponds , that a little advertising would remedy the problem of low attendance.
