I mean why the heck you don't gamble for another season with two of your own drivers fighting for championship. Moreover, we all know Toto Wolff owned part of Williams F1. It is almost so easy to make that deal for Bottas going to Mercedes. For the sake of the sport why don't you give Fernando the chance.

I bet if Toto phone or at least e-mail Fernando tonight that he might want another spell to be team mate with Hamilton. Even his McLaren' contract is 'unbreakable'. Fernando would retire himself from the sport for 1 second and rejoin F1 with Mercedes. Rosberg retired this season even he signed a new two year deal in this season. Come on just let Fernando have the drive for BANTER! At the end, Mercedes can afford to mess one year up and just to promote more excitement and finally fulfill so many REAL F1 fans wish for excitement, more dramas and a final chance for Fernando to crown triple world champion before retiring.
