Intolerance is "growing". That means "dark days ahead". That's the key word: "growing". Intolerance of women was always there against women, esp feminists, since the Manusmriti. But the resistance and protests are also "growing". That means hope. <3 :)

Everyone has a right to their opinion. I personally am ashamed of the public reaction of my country and I too believe that if our conception of India cannot withstand the attack of opinions, that the response must be by silencing voices, then I believe that the screaming voices think our India to be too fragile and maybe even want our India to not change as it must. I think that change is necessary and good, the kind of discussion that people like Professor Menon bring to the table essential to our country's progress and I cannot be anything but ashamed of and apologetic for for my country's public
