Would you like to support gender equality in sport?? The Amatuer Boxing Association recently changed their rules to allow Senior Males the option of not wearing a head guard to Box in. This was after medical studies concluded the use of head guards increased chance of concussion in adults. They however did not change the rules for Female boxers-so they are treated as the children are and made to wear them still. I believe this is wrong and that women should be given the option to chose whether they wear a head guard or not just like the men are. By signing this petition you are showing you support the campaign to change this rule and make the ABA rules fair and equal for women. You are supporting gender equality in sport. Thankyou
The discrepancy in these safety regulations remains a significant concern for the sporting community. Providing female athletes with the same autonomy granted to their male counterparts is a necessary step toward true equity in the ring.

The rapid growth of this campaign serves as a clear indication that the sport expects parity in its safety regulations. It is heartening to observe such a unified call for these outdated policies to be amended.

equality in the ring is simple. if the men dont have to wear them then the women shouldnt have to either.
