This petition is to honor this ever-inspiring gentleman with a Proclamation of FELIX MAYERHOFER DAY in Palmdale, California! We need your signatures on this petition to present to the Palmdale City Council to make this happen. The scale of this response is sufficient to move the proposal forward to the Palmdale City Council agenda. I am now drafting the formal petition packet and requesting a meeting with the city clerk to verify our submission requirements.

I owe my and my children's' love of music to Mr M. His enthusiasm and excellent teaching skills instilled life-long music appreciation, and the fondest memories I have involve music making from 5th grade through college. He is a very special man and deserves this day!!
He made a huge difference in my life by introducing me to the world of music, which I in turn past on to my children and they did for theirs. A more deserving person you will not find.
He is a great musician and inspired many with his teaching!
Well earned!
Had him at Palmdale, jazz band.
He is a great teacher and mentor. I will never forget his kindness patience and artistey!
He has touched so many lives including mine with the love of music and the performance of it.

I was not a student of Mr. Mayerhofer, as I came to the Antelope Valley at 15. But I certainly felt his influence through his many students I have known over the years. The guidance and direction he's offered extends far beyond music and the classroom. It is deeply felt by everyone who has had the opportunity to know him. Mr. Mayerhofer is a great man deserving of such an honor.
