It is not creepy to acknowledge someone who passed at the graduation she earned. Keep her chair and put some flowers on it. Other High Schools have done this and there was nothing creepy about it.

This is by far the most shameful and hurtful thing the school board can do to these kids. They are trying to come to terms with a horrible loss and denying them the right to pay homage to a fellow student is wrong. Just yet another let down by the administration of this school.

Truly disgusted someone would say that it is "too creepy" to honor someone who had a large impact on many people's lives. I hope our school realizes their mistake in this comment as I am ashamed. Felicia was an amazing caring person who died too soon. Do not let her be pushed away! She was apart of our family and deserved to be remembered.

Acknowledgements of someone who has passed is not creepy. They should call her name on the roll and allow a family member walk for her.
