The proposed fee increase has been a catalyst for protests that highlight a much larger issue: we need a government that prioritises its people, specifically its education, not one that takes selfish advantage of the faith that has been placed in it and does not deliver on its promises. Education must come first.

This is for my family after me who will be going to university in the years to come!! My parents struggled to send me to Tuks, but i don't want them to struggle so much that it will not even be an option for my younger brother!

I believe that education is too high in price. What happens when you get a shop that under pays as many do and you still have to repay a debt of R120000-R300000 and a car and house is all part of th wish list. That's unfair.

Its so heart breaking to see that a fully matured adult who other laid their trust on is betraying the nation, standing on our way to a better and a bit affordable education and yet he doesn't even seem to care about the future of SA. If this persists, SA is gonna fall. Not all are seeing this coming...but soon its gOnna be so.!!
