I am a CAAD student... may i know how are u guys charging me from not being in my designated desk/office in CAAD! I pay for my workspace! I pay for the facilities of the college that includes studios/workspaces/labs/light tables/light rooms/picturerRoom. I pay to use the printing lab that i print my plans and sections on, u guys haven’t even return us the balance amount for the printing lab in spring. Studying Architecture online is wayyy toooo badddd beyond ur expectations, we even thought that we’ll be exempted and allowed to have 100% full studying in campus but no!!!! WE CANNOT DISCUSS PLANS / SECTIONS / DRAWINGS / MODELS / PROJECTS IN DISTANCE!!!!!! WAKE UP AUSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

It is irrefutable that the quality of education conducted online is not going to be at the same level of being on campus. For the safety of everyone involved, we are not against studying remotely, but we ask for a fee reduction due to our families being personally affected by the pandemic financially. AUS is already one of the most expensive institutions in the country and not reducing fees would prove a financial hardship to more students than ever that will push many to be discouraged in their coursework efforts or even postpone their studies.

I believe lab fees should be removed, as well as other service fees that we wont be using this year.

AUS should reduce the fees we are paying since online is not as good as face to face, and when we are not using the facilities of AUS which can help us with our studies. Also, the university is saving a huge amount of money using the online system.

Deducting the hospital charge fees was appreciated, but the least you could do is cancel the lab fees as well (paying them for my summer course where i simply downloaded a free program accessible to anyone was financially hurtful enough)
