Fees must fall away completely to allow our students stress and debt free education country wide. If we have free medical care countrywide why do we not have free education?

On behalf of international students also affected especially those from non SADC countries, we do not come from home with millions in our bags to study in SA.It takes a lot of sacrifices for our parents to send us here.

South Africa is africa's leading economy and had the ability to lead African development. Our universities will lead this thus making this a necessity

It is the interest of our youth as future leaders to be able to fully access education at all levels. The UN Convention on the Right to Education states it clear that education is a Human Right. It is a necessity in South Africa to improve the level of unemployment, this cannot be done without education. The Conversation also mentions that discrimination and exclusion of any form with regards to access of education is prohibited. South African universities should not be an exception to this law.
