Feeder Bus 293 should go direct to Bus Interchange to alight passengers after Tampines Central 3 (Tampines Regional Library). This will shorten the total travel time for passengers wishing to alight and transfer to the MRT Station. Similar to Bus Service 29, and 28, routes also terminating at the Interchange. Currently, Feeder Bus 293 route passes another 4 additional traffic lights going to the Bus Interchange, and it is additional 5 minutes of (wasted) travel time for passengers wishing to go directly to the Bus Interchange to transfer to the MRT. At the moment, many passengers alight at the Bus stop at Block 502 along Tampines Ave 7, and walk to the MRT Station, inorder to save the extra time wasted riding in the bus. LTA should review this request and provide the necessary adjustment on the route of Bus 293, for the convenience of many Tampines Residents.
