Food which nourishes the body produces happy ambitious students. Let's give them the really good food which existed in the past.

please also consider a culinary and agriculture program at SBC. With all that land, it only make sense we make use of it AND give the students something better.

At least raw meat should NOT be part of the deal. Aramark had their chance and failed miserably! They have abdicated the right, in my opinion, to benefit from Sweet Briar's future success.

I do trust the new administration to do what it must to keep the college open. I'm also sure that on and off campus options have grown since the early 60s. But, good food is essential to contentment.

This i s so important. I was shocked at the unhealthy food at the reunion.
The local cooks were all fired some years back, a big mistake. One can't help but wonder at the degree of obesity among the students is not
connected to that loss.

food is central to whether a student is happy or miserable. Prothro -- and it's incredible food -- was where the whole Sweet Briar community came together to share meals and conversation. Bring back good, wholesome, delicious food, and students, faculty, & staff will benefit, and therefore the whole school will benefit.

When I attended SBC, the home cooked food was hugely comforting. The women attending today deserve the same nutrition, comfort, and love when they visit the dining hall. -MaryLea (Martin) Harris '98

Please bring back Kevin Phelps and Co to Sweet Briar! He and his crew were such a huge part of my college experience! (Plus, the old BoD treated him so terribly after so many years of wonderful service. It's the RIGHT thing to do. For him and for the students!)

of all the things SBC might consider outsourcing, food is at the bottom of the list. the right folks are there, let them build the program.

The food at Sweet Briar was one reason my parents felt good about sending me so far away! It was like home! Take us back to the finest dining. No to Aramark. Yes to healthy quality food!
Bring on the awesome food! Dump Aramark!
