Fee reduction in self-financing college under KTU

I'm writing this email to address the unchanged year wise fee charged by private colleges under KTU (Kerala Technological University). All colleges in the state have decided to start the new semester on 17th of August. The fee to this date has remained stoic - Rs. 75000 (+ Special fees - that varies with the college one studies) for one academic year. As you do know sir, this unprecedented crisis had a bought economic instability in our country. Our parents have received pay cuts, some even receive only a half of their original salary and some who relies only on normal business have suffered a lot in terms of earning livelihood. The unlucky folks amongst us lost their jobs and have no means of providing for their households. And even during this economic crisis, the university, and the colleges under it expect us to pay the full fees (KTU nominated fees + Special fee) which is quite difficult for us to come into terms with. Added on top of that is the monthly internet charge we must pay owing to the onset of online classes and examinations. We do not use any of the college facilities anymore - classrooms, laboratories, libraries, electricity, water, etc. And it’s the duty of every Government to provide quality education affordable even during this pandemic So please, taking all these matters into consideration, we humbly request you to take necessary actions to reduce the fees that have been imposed on us.

Dear sir we all know the current situation going on all privet colleges are forece to complete the new semester fees our parents are not going to jobe in the paste few weeks so we can't pay the fees the NRI students is mostly affected once who pay the huge amount. We are ready to pay our tution fees but not other unwanted fees like library fee. current fee.lab fee. Due to this pandemic, we are not able to go to college. As the the classes should continue we are being taught through online classes. The fees structure we are given now is as usual, which includes not only our tutor fee but also extra fees like lap fees, maintenance fees etc. As classes being online, I don't think we have to pay these extra fees which are included by the college . We only need to pay the tuition fee which is actually less when compared to the normal fee.. So I kindly request the authorities to take action and reduce our fees structure!

Due to covid situation please reduce the fee structure because of this pathetic situation

My dad lost his job due to covid ,he lost his job 3 years before retirement . We just had 3 hours of class and the audio quality and the overquality of the class is pretty bad
