Fee reduction in self-financing college under KTU

Respected officials I'm an engineering student studying in a private college. As everyone knows from March 2020 ,the academic activities of all the colleges are not functioning properly due to the pandemic .Though the college management hadn't made any relaxation in the fee. And also they used to yield full fees on students using college bus even though it is used for 20 days count.For me it is 8000 INR for 20-25 days almost. This is truly against humanity, For paying money for facilities that we are not consumed. We are not consuming any of the facilities from the college and we have to pay for the internet service more than normal plans for online classes,which seems to be inefficient for professional courses. Kindly do take action against this kind of management behaviour With regards ABHIJITH S NAIR

I am studying in a college under catholic. We have to pay Rs. 10000 additional to Rs. 75000 yearly. Even though we are in a tough situation, nor the university or catholic trust didnt took any action regarding fee reduction. I have to pay Rs. 88400 for this online streamed year.

ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട സര്‍/മാഡം കേരളം ദുഷ്കരമായ ഒരു കാലത്തിലൂടെ കടന്ന് പോവുകയാണ് . നിരവധി മാതാപിതാക്കളുടെ ജോലി നഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയും ശമ്പളം പകുതിയാക്കി ചുരുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. മാതാപിതാക്കളിൽ നല്ലൊരു ശതമാനവും ഈ പ്രതിസന്ധിയിൽ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് അനുഭവിക്കുന്നവരാണ് . ഈ അവസരത്തിൽ ആണ് ഫീസ് അടയ്ക്കുവാൻ ഉളള അറിയിപ്പു കോളജുകളിൽ നിന്ന് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് ലഭിക്കുന്നത് . ഇത് സാധാരണക്കാരായ വിദ്യാർഥികളെ മാനസികസമ്മർദ്ദത്തിൽ ആക്കുന്നു . ഈ മഹാമാരി കാലത്ത് വിദ്യാർഥികളുടെ പഠിക്കുവാനുള്ള അവകാശം ഫീസ് കൃത്യ സമയത്ത് അടയ്‌കാത്ത കാരണത്താൽ ഹനിക്കുവാൻ പാടില്ല. നിലവിലെ സെമെസ്റ്റർ പരിശോധിക്കുമ്പോൾ ലോക്ക്ഡൗണിനു മുൻപ് ഏകദേശം 2 മാസത്തെ ക്ലാസ് മാത്രമേ ലഭ്യമായിട്ടുള്ളു, പ്രസ്തുത സെമെസ്റ്ററിനു വേണ്ടി ഈടാക്കിയ തുകയിൽ നല്ലൊരു ശതമാനം വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക് നഷ്ടമായി. 5 മാസത്തോളം സ്വന്തം കാശ്‌ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഇന്റർനെറ്റ് കണക്ഷൻ എടുത്താണ് ഓരോ വിദ്യാർഥികളും പഠിച്ചത്. കോളേജിലെ ഫെസിലിറ്റികൾ യാതൊന്നും ഉപയോഗിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ആയതിനാൽ കോളേജിലെ അധ്യാപകർക്കു ശമ്പളം നൽകുവാൻ ആവശ്യമായ തുക മാത്രം വിദ്യാർഥികളുടെ പക്കൽ നിന്നും ഫീസായി വാങ്ങേണ്ടതാണ്, ഇപ്പോഴുള്ള ഫീസിന്റെ ഒരു മുപ്പത് ശതമാനം എങ്കിലും ഫീസ് ഇളവ്‌ വരുത്തണമെന്നും, സാമ്പത്തികമായി ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുള്ള വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് തവണകളായി ഫീസ് അടയ്ക്കാനുളള അവസരം കൊടുക്കണം. ഇതുമൂലം വിദ്യാർഥികളുടെ റജിസ്ട്രേഷന് ഒരു വിധ ആശങ്കകളും ഉണ്ടാവാൻ പാടില്ല. മേല്പറഞ്ഞ കാര്യങ്ങളുടെ ആവശ്യകത കണക്കിലെടുക്കുമ്പോൾ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെയും കുടുംബത്തിന്റെയും ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കി ഫീസിൽ കാര്യമായ മാറ്റം വരുത്തണം എന്ന് അഭ്യർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.

We want justice.... Reduce tution fee. Refund unwanted fees collected in last semester,like Arts and Tech, college bus fee etc

Due to this crisis it is impossible pay the fees and as per the govt rule the classes would starts after oct.So it is waste of paying this full amount.So please take the necessary action.

I don't think it's a fair was to receive 100 percentage tuition fees for the upcoming academic year even though in previous year only half days the class is conducted
