Fee reduction in self-financing college under KTU

Hi guys, *As there is no relaxation in the tution fee for coming academic year eventhough the classes are via online platforms,we are initiating a petition for reducing the fees for all the engineering colleges under KTU. So show your concerns by signing the below petition*

We all know that, due to Covid most of the students are in financial crisis. And the last sem we don't use any college fasilitis. Such case take a better desition in fee reduction. Already we didn't have much money for our meels. So please do need fully

My Father can't afford mine and my brother's fees during this covid situation

The fees should be reduced .Now situation is becoming worse so government should take a action for this.

This is illegal for buying full amount of fees during this covid season....specially for engineering colleges.....y should we pay full fees they are not providing us lab, electricity,neither data connection....we the students are paying the data money for online classes....so pls this is a request to not loot money during this covid season

This is unacceptable. We are not using any facilities provided by our college and still we are getting the same amount of fees to be paid.

Respected Sir/Madam, As we all know Kerala is going through a very tough period. Most of our parents are suffering badly from low/half payment or even no payment from their work places. Majority of our parents are suffering badly due to this. It has literally made all of us including our parents in a very bad mental condition. It is not right to deny our education due to economical instability of us in the time of this pandemic. Analysing the situation so far we have just attended about 2 months of classes in the previous semester due to the outbreak of pandemic and the declaration of lockdown, but we have already paid the full amount which means we have lost major portion of our money that we paid as our fees. In addition to that the remaining months of online classes where attended by us using our own internet facilities. Since we have just used the college facilities for the first two months of the semester except the teaching facility we request to repay the rest. And a revised payment for the upcoming semester should be introduced as soon as possible. Along with that, considering the children who are economically very low and very unstable we also request to issue the revised payment as a 4 or 5 times installment without affecting the semester registration at any cost. Since we are in a very bad situation we request to take a very genuine and positive decision from the higher authority. Yours Sincerely Ajo sunny
