We need to stand together to reject orders from the internet floral order gatherers. Get the word out to fellow florists!!! Stop being cheated out of money and make the customers aware of these scams.

I agree with everything as stated but especially the last" can they survive without us. No one to fill the orders puts them out of business. Why haven't we stood as a class and filed suit against this because I would think this would be a breech of contract on their part. Class Action would put and end to all this. Please keep me informed. Thank You!

I am tired of paying membership dues to companies that not only encourage but also profit from the deceptive tactics of order gatherers as they siphon money away from brick and mortar florists.

You forgot 1800Flowers. When I calculate my monthly fees on any of the wire orders before I deduct the 30+% they deduct from the order, we are charged an additional $8 to $10 per order average. A typical $50.00 wire order nets us about $35.00 less about $8.00 (member fees and more) resulting in about $27.00 to fill a $50.00 order. I will launch a new website call www.Floristunite.com soon. I am looking for florists to sign up and stage BlackOuts. Dates we reject order gatherer or FTD.com, Teleflora.com and 1800Flowers.com orders. We will only fill shop to shop orders on given blackout dates. Spread the word and see if we can't get the ball rolling. It is time we took back our industry from these order gatherers.

Enough is enough. These gatherers are killing us with service fees and ridiculous demands. I stopped taking orders from them months ago and my shop is actually doing better. Stop feeding the machine!
