We the undersigned, are in full support of creating a public market in our city. We embrace the vision and goals of the Federal Way Public Market organization, which are:
To establish a community hub to help our city grow as a vibrant and economically prosperous place to live, work, play, and worship by fostering local economic development, and creating a central gathering place and town square for our city.
Federal Way has never had a downtown. A public market will not only attract tourists but also shoppers from surrounding communities that would have no other reason to come to our city. It would become the "heart and soul" of Federal Way!
We enthusiastically support the Federal Way Public Market's (www.fedwaypm.org) efforts to conduct studies, raise funds, and build the community and business partnerships needed to create a vibrant public market (with a business incubator and surrounding open space) that is community-driven and financially self-sustaining.

Federal Way would benefit from a nice year round market. It helps support local smaller businesses and farmers. Our community desperately needs to improve our access to better food and other items instead of only having access to cookie cutter major retailers. Please make this happen.
Opportunity for an incubator for new and niche businesses to establish visible presence while founding a going concern.
We need a viable and flexible Federal Way market ...one that can house a weekly market as well as a full time market
While I live in unincorporated Auburn, I do almost all my shopping in Federal Way, and used to live by the transit center. It would be amazing to have a place to support local small business people. Also Federal Way needs more places to buy unique items. A year round public market at the old Target would be such a great addition to the city!
While I don't live within FW City Limits, I do spend money in Federal Way, Volunteer in the Community and my children are within FWPS Boundaries. A year round Public Market would be a great asset to Federal Way, bringing residents and out of town folks together.

I will love to see a full time public market in Federal Way. We need it to be a part of our downtown. The PAC is great , the stairs are perfect, the water park is way cool, and now the Public Market will be a giant step toward compleeting our downtown. Thanks so everyone who is working to bring The Federal Way Public Market to completion!
