The federal government said they would give a $4 top up pay to all health care workers during the covid 19 pandemic. However, it was just announced that this hazard pay would only being given to government workers. Therefore, private care workers that are doing the exact same job are not entitled to the federal top up. I beleive this is an injustice that should be recognized and rectified. I ask everyone who sees the injustice in this to sign this petition it should be equal to all workers that are taking the same risk and doing the same job.
