We, the undersigned, petition on behalf of Exonerated Death Row Survivors for Support Services and Financial Compensation from the Federal Government. Exonerated death row survivors are those men and women who have been wrongfully convicted of capital crimes, sentenced to death, and exonerated because of their actual innocence. Many of these exonerated survivors have been released from State prisons with only the clothes on their backs because of a lack of comprehensive compensation programs across our nation. We, therefore, petition for support services and federal compensation and/or monetary reparation to support their successful reentry back into society.
