We deserve the right to have our voices heard and fully understood by the school board!

Regardless of where people in our neighborhood stand on the redistricting of our two neighborhoods, we were not given the opportunity to voice our concerns and be heard by the committee, which goes against the guiding principles. We deserve a chance for our opinions to be considered.

I 100% agree with this petition. We moved to this neighborhood based on the schools. We have kept our daughter at the same school since elementary to provide consistency and keep her with her peers she has been with since the age of 5. Thank you for allowing us to voice our conerns.

My neighbors and I were not afforded the opportunity to be heard by the committee following the last minutes changes. We want an opportunity for our concerns to be listened to. If these changes go into effect ourmiddle school children will be egregiously separated from their peer group. We have other concerns as well about this decision conflicting with the guiding principles. Please afford us the opportunity to be heard before approving any rezoning changes for Squire Oak and Hunting Hills.

I strongly agree with this petition. We appreciate the hard work done by the committee, but feel that the late date of the redistricting change did not allow our neighborhood the opportunity to provide feedback to the committee.

I strongly agree with this petition. The main guiding principle that the committee said was reason for the change was keeping the elementary kids in squires in the same peer group with middle and high school. This contradicts what will actually happen. This puts our community's kids out of the peer group as the rest of the neighborhoods feeding into Squires are districted for Hayes and Henry Clay. I would appreciate the board giving us strong consideration for our concerns and leave Squire Oak and Hunting Hills in the Hayes and Henry Clay districts.
