The Fayette County Public School's redistricting committee proposed moving students in the Squire Oak and Hunting Hills neighborhoods to different schools in the 11th hour of the redistricting process (maps were released following the second to last meeting of the committee).

No due process has been given to our community. Our comments and concerns were not handed out to the committee until the final meeting, at which time they were not fully read or considered prior to the proposed plans receiving final approval.

We respectfully request that due process be given to our community. These changes conflict with the guiding principles set forth by the committee on numerous levels and the neighbors of Squire Oak and Hunting Hills want to be afforded the opportunity for our concerns to be considered fully prior to proposed school zones receiving final approval.
