Please allow us to wear jeans and t-shirts . It really shouldn't matter what we wear as long as its appropiate for school . We come to school to learn not for what we wear .

We should wear clothes that make us feel relax and comfortable while we do our work.

This is ridiculous. It really infuriates me that they would apologize for the "mix up" and the "inconvenience"! Are you kidding me?! How about , all the parents who have already purchased regular clothes for their children (because they were told that uniforms were not being worn this year) , send the bill for those clothes to the Fayette County school system and apologize to them for the "inconvenience"! Parents have already bought clothes for school and then find out they are USELESS for school! That is not an inconvenience, it is causing a hardship (that is already hard enough on families)! THEN, the parents have to figure out (days before school) how to afford a whole new UNIFORM wardrobe for their children! We don't want the uniform policy. It is twice as expensive! And people can not afford it. Certainly not, with just DAYS notice! Between spending money on school supplies and already buying clothes, it is impossible for many families. And the Oakland Elementary should be ashamed of themselves for putting families in this position!

I think we should gone be able to wear jeans n t-shirts since people already bought their kids some blue jeans and t-shirts . It was too late to try to change the uniform policy back to normal
