I feel fathers just get forgotten about, it's all about the mothers. They might go through a lot physically aswell as mentally, but us dads also go through a lot mentally! A little bit of support wouldn't go a miss

i completely support this, I suffered awful pnd and anxiety after all three children and as a result of this and no support for my husband he has recently been diagnosed with depression. There needs to be more to help dads, and the family unit in general

Parenting is often a partnership. Dads have feelings too. They need, and deserve to receive support too!

It is really important that fathers are supported before and after birth. This will help those suffering with anxiety and depression and will also in turn enable them to support their partner and child (ren).

vital that *men *dads are included on the nice guidlines , so that good interventions can be put into place if there is an occurence or relapse of mental health during post/peri natal stages.

I run Life With Baby, an online peer support group for anyone experiencing a postnatal mental health issue in Kent. People think that only mums are affected, but I'm trying to show people that dads can suffer too. Really hoping that both parents receive appropriate support if they need it.
