The prince georges county family circuit court has failed to enforce "the best interest of the child rules" I guess the courts gave the father of my child Sole physical and legal custody of my son on January 29, 2014. His fathers name is Vincent Daniel Phillip Swann.

Here is the situation, this man is nearly behind $6,000 in back child support, went to court to try and file and emergency custody hearing before hand and didnt know even know his sons birthday when he got on the stand. I have police reports filed against one of his closest family members that he lives with who touched my son innappropriately, this man cant even produce any documents on proof he was in his son life (he is 5). I have taken care of my son by myself since the very day he was born. That is my shadow, whenever you see me, you see my baby. And the courts thought it was the best interest of the child to take away all of my parental access to my son, just because i missed a court date, that i tried everything in my power to attend. I live out of state from where the court our case is located.

This man can afford to pay an attorney and purchase a new vehicle, and hasnt proved to the court how he is a fit parent, or better yet how he has been a parent at all. I fear for my son, because now i have to wait for unncessary motions to be filed and responded to, just to prove what i have already been doing what I have been doing as a single parent for the past 5 years. This man won this case by default. Prince georges county judges and mr swann's attorneys made me out to be a bad parent somehow with no supporting evidence or proof. This man doesnt know his childs allergies or medical conditions, likes, or dislikes, or yet again even his birthday. Yet here is our judicial system, with documents right in front of their eyes and still gave him custody, so by punishing me for not being able to appear in court, You punished my baby. And i will not stop until i get justice for him, and get him returned home immediately.

So not only was that decision not in the best interest of the child,mthe courts now put my baby through emotional distress, which is detrimental to him, mentally and emotionally, just being uprooted from his mother after 5 years to a stranger. The courts made a huge mistake, and now my son has to suffer through it.

Lets not forget i filed a motion with the court pro se to continue the case, as i knew it would NOT be in the best interest of the child to be with vincent swann. The courts showed no mercy, and made a horrible decision. Where is the punishment for dad?

Where is the punishment for dad taking my 5 year old son away from me And his home/family/friends?

For not paying his back child support?

Why is there no laws for deadbeat beat parents im confused?
