We, the residents of Somerset subdivision in Bogart, Georgia have limited (to no) access to high-speed internet, and we are desirous of having a high-speed internet provider, including the cable companies Charter Communications and Comcast, consider providing the infrastructure necessary to provide much-needed high-speed internet, as well as other services, to our subdivision. The only current "wired" internet provider serving our subdivision, AT&T, only offers DSL service and many consider it to be too slow. Unfortunately, AT&T has recently made the decision to cap that service so that none of the new homes, or new residents, can even obtain DSL service. Our subdivision has approximately 50 homes built and occupied, with approximately another 25 buildable lots.

By signing this Petition, I signify that I agree that I would be willing to subscribe to Charter or Comcast high-speed internet service, either immediately or upon the termination of our current contract with AT&T for DSL internet services, and also that I would also be willing to consider switching my cable and/or telephone service from AT&T to Charter or Comcast if same is available.
