While I don't begrudge Martin Bean an 11% pay rise we are all in this together, fair pay should be across the board.

All your staff deserve an above inflation pay rise- without their support and hard work the University would not be in the position it is today!

Congratulations to Martin but I do think his staff deserve a better reward than 1% for the hard work we're all putting in with SSTs etc.

I thought the Open University stood for equality. Paying Mr Bean 11% when the rest of us have to settle for 1% is not equality!

Very unfair, 11% on his annual salary is vast, our 1% makes vary little difference each month.
